I removed the Snorkel on my 12R and it may just be my improperly calibrated twin cheek dyno but I seem to have maybe lost some torque until about 3500 RPM's... Does anyone have a dyno of a stock 12R (not even a race filter) with the snorkel removed? If not, what about dyno's of the snorkel not removed and removed w/ the race filter?

Yes, I checked the past three archives in the proper section of the KV and there seemed to be nothing there (or I'm blind)... I also did a search for snorkel and found info on the tube frame bikes.

It certainly sounds cooler, but if I lose anything down low for the sake of peak numbers I'll put it back in...

I don't know if dyno's differ but the dyno print out for my 9s (done at sea level on a Dynojet model150) with the full stage1 kit & snorkel removed + 12 airbox lid.

The "torque" graph does'nt register untill after 3000rpm.Just by riding the bike you can tell the engine does'nt get "lively" and into it's "stride" untill 4,000'ish RPM's upto the limiter.
