Hi everyone. First post and all, lets see... I ride a 2003 XB9R with a Force pipe, PC III, the Trojan underpan, a black windscreen, and other little touches. I also work at Gainesville H-D & Buell in sunny FL.

Welcome but a word of caution. Don't mention to these northern boys how good the riding weather is where your at right now. It's a sore subject with these guys this time of year 'cuz they haven't been riding for 3 or 4 months and most them are still under a couple feet of snow!

Gator-I told you to be CAREFUL! I rode in to work every day this week, it's been in the mid 80's every day, and took the looooooooooong way home every day, but don't rub it in to these guys. They are likely to go postal.

By the way...enjoy your ride..I know I will!

I know I couldn't help it. The crack about the roads brought back to many fond memories of WI. I need to move to SoCal where the weather is warm and the roads have turns!!!

Arizona works for that too... There were three days this year I didn't get to ride. DAMN that pisses me off... Oh, and we DO have curves (I'm in the northern mountainous regions of AZ about 1/2 a mile from Prescott National Forest).

You good weather guys don't know what you're missing! Went for a ride yesterday, it was -1C (have no idea what that is in Fahrenheit, but trust me, its not warm). Put on the winter gloves and heated vest (although, I don't have the vest hooked up to the battery yet!?). You see, I just installed the 12 airbox cover and had to see what all the fuss was about. Damn, after about 20 km the thing wound up like a scalded cat! Mind you, some of that winding could have been due to all the SAND still on the roads up here! I got so cold I had to head for the nearest Tim Horton's for a coffee (that would be our poor Canadian equivalent of Krispie Kreem (sp?)...to dip my fingers that I could no longer feel in! Every day is a good day to ride, especially on this little yellow bugger with the loud race pipe and great torque (not to be confused with toque, which I probably should have been wearing under my helmet to offset the inevitable "brain freeze"!
Welcome to the board...see some of us are "normal" !?

Pay no attention to Flick. ...bloody Canadians and their flappy heads...

Canada is like a loft apartment over a really great party.

Krispy Kreme...BLECH. We've got TH in Michigan, too, but nobody believes me when I tell them the mounties are invading.

Welcome 'Gator,

I to am fairly new to this place and I would like say that if you aren't careful this place can become habit forming. That in itself isn't bad it is just that the sanity of the group comes into question often. I will also say that this place has answered questions I didn't even know to ask.

Duck

P.S. CJ and Char I want you to know that I feel for you up in Wis. but also know this, I would give just about anything to be up there near my beloved Green Bay Packers, and Buell HQ.

Now don't you be being humble and all Canadian-like, belittling our Tim Hortons, Flick. Just one more way that Canada is better!
We had a Krispy Kreme(sp?) open up in Vancouver (well, Surrey) a month ago and there's still security guards blocking the entrance to the mall its in and directing traffic 24/7. A one hour line-up to get a friggin' doughnut! Which the kids made me do! And they're KRAP!! Tim Horton's rules!
Good weather for riding today but I'm still waiting for paperwork to be able to register my new-to-me-and-this-country S2.

Welcome from another gator (UF '79/damn!).
I got a nice Buell sweatshirt from G'ville HD/Buell for Xmas. The lady who purchased it for me said that whoever she spoke to at the dealership mentioned that a handful of the service guys ride Buells. Because of the lure of actual Buell merchandise I was going to organize a ride from cental FL to your shop sometime before it gets too hot out. We'll be sure and look you up.

Frank

Ftd, don't get to excited our Buell merchandise selection isn't huge. We do have a few things though. All the Buell riders work in Service look for us there.

Jonathan,

Welcome to the only real Buell board out there. Here you can find the best as well as the worst information about our chosen rides. We have even less Buell merchandise here at Orlando H-D where I work. We can get most anything you might need, but it has to be ordered. We are getting a pretty good core of riders in this area as well. Sorry about the weather today...only about 72 degrees and windy; will get down around 48 degrees tonight so say the weather guessers. That's all for now.

Bob aka FUBOB...Pammy will understand.
