Wow $20k invested, yet still running the stock motor internals! Damn those fairings must be made out of crashed space shuttle tiles.

The exhaust must exit onto the left foot peg, bracket and left side of swingarm, it is covered with exhaust soot.

It looks like a Hals or Kosco style race bike from a few years back. It has some decent parts on it that were not cheap when that bike was built.
The Hals bikes had the exhaust point at the swing arm as well, they would also have soot.
The chain drive swing arm conversion, after market rear shock and the bodywork were probably $4500 back then.
It also looks to have Attack performance triple clamps, big oil cooler, woodcraft rear sets etc.
All that stuff add's up quickly.
