Where'd you get that they dropped the rev limit down? XB12 peak HP has always been at 6800 RPM, but that doesn't mean that's the redline.

Look up the 09 specs and compare to 2010, both say peak is 103 at 6800. Nothing about the 7100 redline.

Yes can someone PLEASE post the new oil check procedure? Is the check done with the engine idling? And is this check retroactive to 2008?

I wonder the same thing (check while running). I had my local dealer tell me that Buell recommend me do this on my 09xb.

Does the ECM on the new model read output from both 02 sensors?

For the XB? I thought that was only on the 2010 1125?

I haven't seen any new part numbers for the swingarm that would indicate a change, I will look again.

Usable Power
1203 cc models redline at 7100 rpm and 984 cc models redline at 7500 rpm. The power is right there when you need it. So you won't have to wait for the engine to rev up to the powerband.

http://www.buell.com/en_us/bikes/street/XB12Scg/al l-features.asp

The redline is still at 7100 per the Buell site.
