Was just cleaning up the ol' 12 when I noticed that the front wheel has a good size bubble in the "clear" coat, just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues like this with the factory 12 wheels.

Spyder I'd make sure you let the dealer aware of it.Chaser you might want to tell your buddy Chris the same.Excuse me but I have to go out in the garage and take a look at my 12's wheels. If we start having problems I'm quite sure BUELL would want to get this corrected.

Where is the bubble? Is it near the rotor mount? I wonder if perhaps a really hot rotor tranferring heat could do that...

I've got a 9, but I want to powder coat my wheels, hence my interest.

Darthane don't be intimidated by powder coating it just so happens that are wheels are translucent candy and I was wondering if they would have issues or not but solid colors never do.

Ahh, cool. Didn't think it would, considering they bake powder coats at higher temps than the rotor gets, I'm sure. Thanks, Dana.

I've checked mine and there ok so far.Spyder have you made a call to your dealer??If not after you show them the damage you may want to throw some clear on that so they or it doesn't spread.Even clear fingernail polish will work.God luck man.

that is the problem, it is spreading but nothing has actually come off yet its just a big "bubble" ..And yeah I called them (the Dealer) And they need to look at it so when this new SNOW leaves and I get a chance I will bring it down to them, where as we are still trying to get my tps right ..
