I'm a newbie here so go easy on me. I just added a black 2008 Uly XT to my Hog Pen. I have been riding since age 12 and riding Harley's since 1999, but after reading the article in American Rider I decided that I wanted a new experience in riding. I now have a Uly XT setting next to my 2004 Screamin Eagle Electraglide. I am really impressed with this bike and the new riding experience.

I have read all the post I could find on windshields in every forum I could find. I have read good and bad reports on the Cee Baileys, Madstad, Parabellum and the Cal. Scientific. I am totally confused on which one is best for my needs. I am 5' 11" with 32" inseam. Most of my riding will be sport touring in all kinds of weather and I'm looking for all the protection I can get from the elements. Keep in mind that I have been riding Electraglides for some time now. I don't expect the protection of a batwing faring, but I want as much protection as practical for this bike.

I guess what I'm really looking for is enough opinions from riders that have used these windshields so that I can use your input to decide. Up until now all three seem to have equal good and bad points. So please give me some feedback.

Thanks

IMHO you're never likely to find really comfortable wind protection for an XB. For what it's worth, I'm just now about to try out the Zero Gravity extended screen.

You may be right, I'm just hoping I can find someone that has already tried a few different brands. I really can't afford to purchase 2 or 3 windshields to find out by trial and error which one provides the best protection for sport touring.

let me know how that Zero Gravity works out. Thanks

Hammer, install some Memphis Shades on the upper fork tubes and the reduction in turbulence will be remarkable on a Uly. Blends in well to. Cheap $70 mod that gives great results

Also your luck in finding good answers will likely be better over in the big bad and dirty board. the Uly have a different front end than our XBs. I know you're talking about an XT and not an X...but the Uly pros like to hang out over there too.

Thanks, Firstbatch, do you have a Memphis Shades part number for the ones you have? I can see how that mod would help.

Thanks, Andy I'm check with them guys too.
