Thanks so much to Timoc for helping me get those indicator lights finally put on my bike! Then we had a short (12 mile) ride and a nice lunch. We have to get together again for a longer ride. As I sit here on my computer I'm ordering some of those other parts we talked about. As a general rule, I have found that Buell riders/owners are the nicest folks you could ever meet, and they have exsquisite taste. Alisha | ||

So true Alisha. We just did a 100+ mile ride here yesterday with Shawn Higbee, privateer Buell racer. He as well is a humble, cool guy as were all the people on the ride. Al from American Sportbike came down, it was a great turnout. Come down to San Diego for the next SD Bueller ride in a couple weeks or hit the SCAB rides every month or so. You won't be disappointed! | ||

I have found that we are a "boutique" bike kind of club, but without all the pompus bull stuff you see in a lot of non-standard bike riders. The truth be told, I have yet to run into a fellow Buell rider who wasn't an enthusiastic, down-to-earth rider who wouldn't hesitate to pull over if they saw ANYBODY on ANY TYPE of bike pulled off on the side of the road. Yes, Buell riders rock, we take care of each other because we freaking care! | ||

well,i helped a 'zuki guy by my house who ran out of gas recently,and friday i stopped by a cruiser guy who had a small electrical fire,in rush hour traffic.he was on cell phone getting help.i was cash poor and could not do much else but i did have my tools with me.he motioned me on as he was on the phone. but hot in the sun...broke down.damn i need to keep more water in tank bag in case.waiting for help is bad enuff....some stranger to stop and check on ya and have a big bottle of water--is a lifesaver!. and you sure dont want to be broke down and walking and dehydrated and have NO WATER to drink either.been there,walked 8 miles.ugh. | ||

I'd love to ride with you SCAB riders...well at least I think I would. How do I find out when folks are getting together? Timoc will be together with you sometime soon to your favorite ride on rte 2. I'll be intouch - next weekend maybe? |
