I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys out there on the performance of your bike after the first service was completed. Did the bike run smoother, get better gas mileage, etc?

Thanks,
Nick

Its just fluids, and unless something was way out of adjustment it should feel the same.

Make sure you get a full drain on your primary. Refill should be the full quart. Did you buy the service manual (not the owner's manual)? It's a must have for self maintenance and trouble shooting. Lots of good info and good to have so you don't miss anything.

Nextcorner... if that was to me... Yes I have a service manual and will be sure and do it properly.

Not sure what the dealer did... Most likely oil level but they also used syn3. I am doing amsoil all around for the 5000.

I need to purchase the service manual. What's a good price to pay for it? I have a 2009 xb12scg.

Thanks,
Nick
