Hey all,

I downloaded the .zip file (includes all stock & race ECM for many bikes) from Hawk Performance

http://home.windstream.net/hawk63/

For some reason the 2003 XB9 fuell maps are all goofed up. Does anyone know if the stock & race ECMs are the same between the 2003 and 2004? My original stock fuell map on my 2003 looks a little more rich all across the board than the downloaded stock 2004 map. If confirmed the same, I am going to stop trying out my butt-dyno and just burn the 2004 Race ECM.

Thanx!!

They're different.
Among other changes, the throttle body on an 04+ is bigger.
So if you think the 03 is a rich map, the 04 should look way rich.

Hmmm... I have a K&N filter, Jardine exhaust, and just ordered the new 12 airbox. Any suggestions on fuel maps? Should I stick with the 03 Race ECM? Or does anyone have a good EEPROM from the same setup that I could use?

PM Sent.

Also, I came across a reply that stated how the Race ECMs are really only beneficial during 100% TPS. Any input on this?

Start two sessions of ecmspy and load both stock and race eeproms up and look at the data yourself. Look at timing maps...

Duh. I can see the numbers. I'm just wondering people's opinions on how it helps. Pros/Cons.

I was going to try to burn the 03 race ecm maps too from that same file, and ya...the 03 files are all messed up (TPS values are jumbled)

Hammer71,
do think what you send Nextcorner could help me out, that is if you don't mind sending it to me? Pretty much the same set up as him only with a drummer.
