Went to check the timing (haven't had problems, but just checking) and I can't see a timing mark through the inspection hole. I must be missing something stupid???.... Fifth gear, bike raised, slowly advanced the motor a couple of revs. ECMSpy showed timing on/off/on etc.

pull the plugs to eliminate compression and make the engine turn over smoothly instead of making large "jumps" all at once.

If you had a tuber, pulling the plugs would be a lot easier

If he had a tuber, he wouldn't need to split the swing arm in half to change a belt. Oh wait.... : D
