This week I am going to either cut my inner airbox or "swiss cheese" it. I've read mixed opinions on plugging the snorkel hole. Should I do this? What works best to plug it? I've thought about maybe cutting some slots in the outer airbox cover and using a little bit of heat to form some "scoops" on both sides of it. Any recommendations on what I'm about to do? Does anyone have any pics of a cut or modified outer airbox cover?

I thought of drilling holes in frame in the snorkel hole then capping the top and bottom hole to gain more fuel capacity

Isn't there a plastic lining in the tank?
