Is this a current photo, 'cause if so; your front isolator is broken.

There should be closer to a half inch gap between the isolator and the mount, unless I'm mistaken. If less, something is wrong.

You are correct, it is NOT right. That is not a stock exhaust header, and it mounts to the cases in a dubious (IMHO) fashion.

I'm not surprised it is breaking header studs.

The gasket at the header is an internal crush type and is completely in the header bore inside the head. You won't see it when the header is installed. I can't say for sure that stud isn't pulling out, but I can't say for sure it is either. It's a big but not unreasonable gap, I don't think those things end up flush.

Here's what I got. Don't mind the dead bugs lol.
It looks right to me, as long as it's not leaking.

There should be a little clip on the back of the rearset for that breather tube to rest in.

I think mine hangs in the same manner LOL. It's just the breather for the gas tank. You'll want to keep it away from your swing arm, as gas will sometimes vent out of it and stain your swing arm.

There was a clip but the CF heel guards are not beveled like the aluminium ones and I couldn't attach it I know its the overflow hose but it is SUPPOSED to routed in front of the rearset and it should come out below the frame from where I am pointing. i think

It clips to the inside of the peg mount.

i know it does but that bolt is longer n the cf heelgaurds r not beveled where the bolts go thru(so I cant use the stock bolt) but i dont think its routed right n it wouldnt reach the bracket if i did have a longer buttonhead bolt to use anyway

I think your isolator is fine (from what i can see). I think that front exhaust mount will continue to shear studs... think about how the factory mount works, huge clamp that goes all around the exhaust body and keeps it from moving in any axis.

That setup you have keeps it from moving "up and down", but lets it ring right and left freely, which exerts all sorts of leverage on the studs.

Hey Buelltroll
looks like you Have a marble garage floor! Nice Job!

Just for the record MY 2008 XB12S front isolator looks just like Teeps's.

There is a prtty large gap there but its tight so I didn't worry about it. Not sure how long rubber will last with that much flex room though?

the isolators are supposed to have a gap like teeps. over time the vibration of the motor will wear out the rubber and it will start to sink down. very slowly. once it reaches the bottom you'll get vibrations like hell. so buelltroll, your isolator is almost worn out, but not broken
