So I am thinking about doing some powder coating. I am going to get the wheels done, pretty simple pull the bearings out. but i am thinking about the frame, should I paint it or powder coat it. Is there some where i can go and buy all the seals and bearings at once after i disassemble the bike? Just looking for a little advice from anyone who has done it before. Thanks
Steve

I have the same question. I chipped the coating off of a few areas on the passenger grab bars, and I'd like to repair the damage. It looks like I can remove the rear assembly, but I have no idea if I can get anything even remotely matching the color.

Comments would be appreciated.

Chris

Pete at Grandstand designs powdercoated my seat rails and center tail in Tiger Drylac Bengal Silver, not exact match, but a very good color choice on the bike.

i did my cheesegrater after i chopped it off and it looks great, the powder coat will hold much better and not chip as easy as paint, especially on wheels!
