Has anyone put a tall suspension from a Uly or TT onto a short frame bike (like a city x)? I'm thinking the forks should be a direct swap, and I'm pretty sure I've seen the long swingarm on the short frame done before, but I don't know how well the long shock would match with the short swingarm. Would probably mess up the belt tension..

Just a though I had while wishing I could hop that curb while stuck in traffic...

It may rock forwards and backwards on the highway like a lifted jeep.

It would definitely be different.

Having never seen nor heard of such a mod I can not say whether the handling would be compromised or not.

If you proceed with this you are OBLIGATED to posts many pics of the project from start to finish : )

If you go with the longer swing arm you will certainly need the longer belt. I would find out if longer oil lines are needed or not before hand.

The long swingarm has differant oil line connections (differant locations) than the standard swingarm. If you do it post pictures and keep us informed. I am contemplating putting the low suspension on my SS, I think it will improve the handling (not that it needs it).
