Does this look normal? i noticed im getting some wobble when i let go of the bars anywhere from 40 and up...

thats your front engine isolator, nothing to do with the steering. check tire pressure, tire out of round, wheel balance warped disc, steerer bearings if you have done a lot of miles

I've had that exact problem from a worn front tire.

damn, and i knew that... see it must be that damn Red Stag ive been drinkin since then.. i totally meant to say front isolator!

anyways, i will check the rest, does the isolator look fine though?

My front tire isn't worn.. but could be out of balance. I have had them for a 1 1/2 though and never really noticed it.

The front isolator looks fine. No tearing right?

The wobble could definitely be from a loose steering head bearing. If you have the service manual it's an easy adjustment.

Check suspension setup too.

Yes, the isolator is supposed to look like it's not tightened up. That is normal.

Check your steering head bearings for correct torque. Even my wife's STT with only about 3K on it, needed them re-torqued.

My bike, even with the bearing torqued properly, still does it slightly with a bridgestone BT021 tire.

no tears, im going to check the manual this weekend and re torque the steering head bearings. Thanks
