My uneducated guess would be that it would only matter if one were to upgrade to the race filter. Don't mind me, just looking for free power... Not that I'll notice, but I'll know and that's what really counts right? No, if you can't tell the difference then there probably is no or very little difference. Don't expect to be spoon fed, take people's ideas and actually try them out for yourself, you decide if it works or not and report back, better still, go out on your own initiative, you don't need any approval from the collective board. If you feel you're about to attempt something silly like I sometimes do, then ask the BWB for advice. Now go out and do some research! In this case, more air is better regardless of the filter used. It is a part of the emission system and according to Buckinfubba it is also part of the noise control system of the bike.   M1combat Posted on Thursday, March 04, 2004 - 01:57 pm:        Maybe it's just my computer tech mentality... If the snorkel will flow more air than the filter then the filter is the bottleneck and not the snorkel yes? I'll still remove it but I was just curious if fluid dynamics works that way also. I'll do it tonight.
