>>>>However, I would argue 3) to allow a page or two for 1) nonprofit educational and 4) to show the value of actually buying the manual.

And of course . . .none of those things are even remotely related to what the discussion was about.

Yes, I'm like that.

Try ebay for the manual. I missed one that eventually sold for $5 because the seller, in Georgia US, wouldn't ship overseas to Canada, go figure.

The guy who's account was just suspended for offering to provide illegal copies of copyrighted merchandise.

Wow what a crap storm. All just trying to help a guy out. Guess I saw all the other posts about illegal mods, wheelies out of stop lights, highest speeds, running from the cops, modding a bike and not telling the dealership so they could keep the warranty......didn't see anyone pissed about them.......I thought posting a LINK to a free .pdf manual wouldn't be that bad in comparison, especially just to help someone out. - Shame on me [slaps own hand]

Man, I don't know what everyone else does, but $60 is a lot to me too, especially the way things are getting. We have 1 adopted 3yr. old and looking to adopt again. At $15,000+ a child, every penny counts. (Don't think for a second that I regret it though, it's expensive yes, but indescribably WORTH IT.)

Edit: - I'm done fellas. Have at it.

Congratulations on your kid and soon to be future kid! Thats a really good thing you are doing, I am young (21) but I definitely understand that children and a dollar amount do not go hand in hand. Priceless. Good luck with your future adoptions.

Where can I find a kid service manual?

Mine is a 2004 girl model and I can't find a shop manual for her anywhere.

I have to learn as I go through lots of trial & error. That manual would help a lot: )

Metalstorm- you write your own as you go. Those type of manuals are very unit specific. Trust me.......especially on the 1990 and 1993 models.

LOL @ Metal. Last time I did this LINKing deal, it got me in trouble. But here goes.

Owner's Manual for Kids - http://www.napsnet.com/pdf_archive/20/70128.pdf

- On a serious note, thanks Oxygen. Adoption proved to me that blood hasn't got a damn thing to do with defining a "Family".

True. Very true and I can say that from personal experience.

Just about any man can make a kid. Not every man can be Dad. I give you major respect for knowing that.

Oh, and thanks for the link LOL

You're a real peach. Suggest you learn how to actually appologize. As to your behavior on the forum, you are quickly wearing out your welcome. Would be great if you could get back to honorable, ethical Buell enthusiastic contributions.

Much thanks and respect goes out to Blake for this site (I assume he's the one responsible) but I gotta say this thread has turned into quite the opposite of Buell enthusiastic contributions. The question was asked where to buy a manual and that question was answered. Can we lock this and move on?

You are partially correct.

The question was asked and answered. It should have ended there.

Then, hey it's the internet, this got lobbed into the fray:

quote:

Free Downloadable Service manuals - Just PM me.

And things went downhill.

I echo your comments. Much thanks and respect for Blake, who we all know has a "real job" during the day, for continuing to make Badweb a place worth spending time.

No need to lock the thread. The answer has been provided, chaff culled and we've moved on.

Jeebus, this thread turned to crap.

Some of you have evidently missed my post that I DID buy the manual. Sheesh
