Thatman-
are you talking about the ignition circuit diagram? I got it to download. It won't help me, though until I have the bike back in my hands.

I'm outta town again and St Paul HD called me today saying that they are unable to look at my bike any further. They are not qualified to work on the bike. Since when is a Buell dealership unqualifed to work on a Buell?
Good, it's going to Fairbult HD tomorrow, spoke with Matt there and he said him and George would love to find the problem for me and they'll work some overtime to get it going by this weekend!

I did tell them about the recall work. Now I play the waiting game, again.
I'm glad I've gotten so much info from you guys. It has prepared me when explaining the problem as well as "my" ideas for a solution.

Thanks

I'll still post any updates-

UPDATE:

Thank you all! My problem is solved!!!

Fairabult HD had my bike for 1 day and found the problem.

A wire going from the Power Commander to the O2 sensor that is worn. When the bike decellerates the power commander changes modes and the exposed wire sparks and blows the ignition fuse.

Quick, easy, temperary fix. I'll order a new tuner and ride till I get it.

Just in time for the holiday weekend!!!!

Don't bother with any of those plug in devices, a proper map is the way to go.

Great news!

I agree with Froggy- just ditch the PC and find someone who knows how to tune the bike with a computer. Does your buddy have a dyno? I can show you how to use ECMSpy if you want...

None of the plug in tuners are going to do any better than the PC did.

Good job finding it!

Glad to hear it wasn't some inherent flaw with Buell's design or build.

Neatness counts in electrical modifications.

You will make up for lost time by the end of Summer.

The iron giant- that's funny.

Thanks again, guys.

The shop is telling me that with the 1200 kit, I need a tuner.

Andy- if you can help me map it out with all my mods, then that would save me around $500.

I just want the bike to run at it's full potential. I know that if I run it with stock map and no tuner, I will destroy the bike.

I was looking at the Daytona Twin Tec tuner. The shop says that I can put that on and then they can tune it to run like it should.

Great news Jake, now I wish Faribault HD would take on the Buell brand.
I asked Bob many years ago but he didn't want it.
