How close is Battle Blue (04 xb9r) to the newer Translucent Air Box Covers (hero blue)? I like my blue bike, but would like a translucent cover. I have never seen the 2 next to each other, and dont know how close they match.

Not at all.

Battle blue is much lighter, and depending on the light it really sticks out.

Looks like they used battle blue chin spoilers. That is a big difference... Thanks for the reply.

Blue attracts titanium squirrels.

The front isn't bad

The rear took a nice lickin.

Is there any way to get a ding out of a rim like that? Got one just like it on the wife's bike that looks just like it but an 03 silver rim.

Orange plastic deadblow hammer from Harbour Freight took the dents out of my rims.
