Looks good! Did you use some sort of template to drill the holes? |

Just cut the stock elbow off and put two matching salami cut pipes on so they'll match. Kinda like the Buell race pipe. |

Ok. I gotta ask... Do they charge for punctuation on badweb now? I had a mini-seizure reading your posts. It says ur from Oregon In your profile. Is there another Oregon outside of the U.S? But back to the exhaust. It's a good idea. I think an elbow on there would clean it up. Too bad you couldn't get a tip to match the other side. |

Hasn't that been known to break swingarms if forgotten about and left on? |

I have a rotor lock for the front tire. God do i fear the day that someone tries to operate the bike with that on. They will be pulling asphalt out of their chin for days |

I have a Disc lock that I put on my front wheel. Usually if I forget it, it's while I'm just rolling it in the parking lot so i just softly bumps the front brake. One time I put in on while in the back of my truck. I forgot about it and put a nice crack in my Carbon front fender. Bummer.... |

From what I have seen, there is a killswitch style coil cord attached to the new rotor locks that you string up to your handlebar to help remind you that it is attached. I would guess that would be what a person would need to remind them that it is in place. |

One could add a length of thin cable (or anything flexible really) to the cheap solution proposed in this thread to accomplish nearly the same thing. If all it there for is to remind us that we have a lock on the rotor... |

Bombardier posted a picture in this thread ( http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/462842.html ). Here it is if you don't want to go there:
It can get ugly fast. |

I use a front rotor lock, with the coily, bright orange, "hey dummy" reminder cable wrapped around the throttle grip. *Since I got the cable* (the important phrase), I haven't had to buy a rotor. FLH rotors are pricey, though....the Dummy Cable was MUCH cheaper. |

Ditto what Bentrotor and Ratbuell sez. I use a big orange rotor lock and have forgotten to take it off a couple of times. Only thing that saved me is that I never romp on it with cold tires. A lock would have chewed something up and probably gotten wedged. |

Unless you can lock the bike to something that doesn't move it's more or less a waste of time. A Buell only weights around 400 pounds, right? A friend of mine got off his full dresser, went into a store to get a pack of smokes, well a truck pulled up beside his bike four guys jumped out grabbed it and tossed it in back and hauled you know what before he could get outside...20 FOOT away. His ride was over 700 pounds easy. |

i keep insurance, if they want my bike that bad let em have it.... i'll get a new one. in a perfect world they'd only steal bikes with bald tires that are overdue for service calls, have charging issues, and screamin wheel bearings |

To buy such a pricey bike, and then resort to such horribly unsophisticated/untested mods, makes my skin crawl. If noise is one's sole ambition, yada yada yada... |

I'm all about people trying different things to try and achieve better performance. If I were smart enough I'd give it a shot. Imagine where'd we'd be if nobody decided to improve upon the wheel.... or popcorn? |
