americansportbike.com $240.00 fiberglass $260 carbon fiber.Yes they work.Do you need one?no.Do they look cool?yes.I have one with no regrets. They are about $200.00 overpriced.Only two companies make them.Neither look like the other.I have the one from American Sport Bike.

Do you think maybe there's a REASON the right side scoop is so much smaller than the left?

What if you got a normal sized right scoop to match the left for asthetic purposes but blocked off half the opening inside of it so it can't be seen?

I took off both my scoops. I didn't like the looks of them. Harley's don't have no stinking scoops

Amen...if they were you'd have a chrome air scoop and you probably wouldn't have taken it off.

I know, but still. The fan was running all the time so I just pulled out the fuse. I haven't had any problems with it. The bike runs great. Harley's don't have no stinking fans

Don't run without a left scoop, it takes a good 20 minutes before the fan shuts off!

That's why I took the fuse out because how annoying the fan was. It would just run and run all the time

my bike wouldnt turn on sometimes because it was overheating, unless your a commuter-only-rider.. I suggest putting it back on, and put the fuse back in!!!

White ,I did the same thing and found it increased my top end due to the decrease in drag. I also removed the fuse for the lights so I don't have to worry about running the battery down and over working the charging system. Now if I can get some good crystal I can loose that last 5 lbs and maybe break 140 mph.

Use the google search for a better results and commentary since this subject always turns into a pissing match. Look in our sponsors section and you can find the people who sell and or make the products. Al & Joanne at American Sport Bike are my first choice for parts and for good reason. Choose carefully in case you decide to run different headers in the future.

I just took a trip to San Francisco (16 hours round trip) with no problems. I live in southern California and ride in 110f heat. I have put about 5,000 miles on it since I removed the scoops and fan. I have not had one problem with it. Runs great and gets about 60 MPG.

Maybe you guy's are the dump asses!
