I bought a Free Spirits soft clutch and i was going to put it in yesterday but i had an installation question. Do i bolt the new lever through the existing hook? If anyone has installed one on there bike let me know. thanks guys

yes, the existing "hook" is where the new bolt goes. there should be a "tab" on the new perch the rests on the outside of the same hook to prevent it from pivoting. i installed one on my bike a few years ago. worth the money.
