I know when I did my grand national I put tri-Y headers and installed a H pipe further back and it made amazing power all throughout the rpm range so im hopeing this will mimic it and still be loud.

Its all 2" pipe I figured if it isnt working right after I re-map it I will put the stocker on and hack that.I have always had a bad ass idea to do to one and havent done it because I didnt need to.I never told nobody it because I want to be the first to try it.Lets just say it is a rather good way to hack a stocker make it loud, unique and have power all thoughout its a old hotrodder trick this old man taught me when I first got into mechanics and racing.....

Only thing is I think tri-y headers make power because they match up the exhaust pulses better (scavenge) then regular headers. Pretty sure thats why the Hugger Sportster uses a 2-into-1 exhaust. Did your GN have cats or mufflers, cause even if it didn't, the turbo keeps a motor a little more quiet then one without - so your bike will probably be really loud! (not necessarily a bad thing)

the one bit of good advise/bad news that i've got is from an HD service manager. he told me that when you rev it up close to red line and let off fast, the air flow can reverse some and may cause the motor to "hick-up". If the motor stutters a little, then it can cause the piston and the valve to collide, causing the valve to bend. a bend results in a break short after. a break results in catostrophic damage to the motor!!!

I would find somebody else to work on your bike if I was you!

Ill be doing a update and hopefully a finale on this hopefully this week as I will be getting the parts needed to finish it in 2 days.

I went a different route than the pics above and found some really cool people who where willing to make parts to my specs.
