We left on tuesday with rain,It did not look good for track day, forcast for thunder storms,I had my xb12 and my friend was on a ducati 996,First time on the track and still wet,I had just put on a new tyre metler m-1 and changed the suspension setttings to my weight ( 150 with gear,not bad for 50 a bubba) .The bike handle good and it took me afew laps to get used to the track,The track is a very fast track and on the high banks at 130 it was all I could do to stay at the top of the bank,comeing off the bank and down the straigh to the chicane and turn one it comes up very fast and you are hard on the brakes.When the track dryed out I was on the hunt for my friend on the 996, He had me on the bank after 130 and going towards the chicane,At the chicane I would late brake and throw the xb in to the chicane and pass him. and then try to stay in front, All in All we had a great day and I could not say a bad thing about the little xb12r.( little more power) Nice to say I rode on DAYTONA TRACK XB12R | ||

bubba I still have a smile going,I had the full faring on and no problems with it overheating,THe fan would stay on for 2min and go off,They all told me that buell is load and we could here you coming down the track, I did not think so ? I have your muffler on and the bike would accelerate through the corners so sweet. bubba I don,t think I will tell the buell dealer here I was on daytona ? I have no waranty now for the faring being on ? What will they say next Don,t come in the store, xb12r  | ||

thats funny....don't come in our store would have loved to hear the drummer on your 12 coming down the track reverberating off the grandstands | ||
