I know you said 9, but I love it on my 12, but it *needs* a remap. I got a map from Al and its been totally awesome. Watch that the front header flange doesn't self destruct like mine did, Micron had a bad batch. Oh, and mine chose to break 2 days after Micron closed shop. Love it otherwise.

I've had a Micron on my 9R for about 3 years now and I love it.

Thanks fellas.
I'm hoping to sell the Buell Race muffler, and my header, to get one.
It all depends on weather Charlie is willing to part with it or not.
Unless of course someone out there wants to trade
Froggy, what'd ya use for a replacement?
Indy, any ECM mods?

Jeff from Danbury HD went to great lengths to try and track down a replacement front header, and was coordinating to try and get it from Europe. I told him he was nuts, and he offered to bring it to a local welder who repaired the flange. He did a good job and welded it on the inside so it is not visible. I have put something like 20k miles on it at this point, its still on!

I've got the Micron on my XB9R. Works great, but you DEFINITELY need to get it remapped. I used the Daytona Twintec. Once it was remapped it ran great. It looks and sounds great too.

Cool thanks.
We have everything we need to do data logging, and re-mapping, so I'm set there.
Just need to talk Charlie into it ; )

I have an 07 xb9r with the micron set up.It ran ok with stock ecm, but better with race ecm. One of my next purchases will be a pda so I can tweak it just a little better with ecmspy. To me it is definitely one of the best exhaust and upgrades.

I had an American Sport Bike map for my Micron and it was perfect. 10% better fuel consumption as well as getting the power that the Micron can make.

If you take it easy with your right hand, you can still get 65mpg with the American Sport Bike map. : )

It was easier to get the high MPGs when the bike was stock, but you got to pay if you want to play : )
