Guys, What makes the 12Scg have a seat height 3 inches lower than my 9SX. Is it purely in the shock or is there a frame difference? I am interested in trying to get a lower seat height as I tippy toe sometimes now. | ||

Oh, and i currently have a select seat that I love, so a new low seat isn't an option. | ||

scg was both seat and rear shock and front forks.about 1 1/2 inch each. I have a xb9sl with a select seat. After the drummer best mod!!!!!! | ||

the select seat is great, but basically your tallest seat option. because it is so firm, it doesn't compress hardly at all when you sit on it, making it the tallest when riding. so if you're looking for scg height with that seat....aint gonna happen. use the search function and search for lowering- you will find LOTS of threads on this topic. new scg forks and shock will basically net you that 1 1/2". kinda expensive and a PITA, if you ask me- especially considering you can achieve more than that by swapping your select seat for a low seat for like $120 new. |
