I just got around to modifying some mirror block off plates and thought I'd share my experience. Cost was under 15 bucks shipped. Nice units but required about 5 hours (total) filing and polishing, the billet was easy to work with though, I did one side at a time. The pictures tell the story, beginning with removing the front corners to match the fairing bosses shape..... Google: BP011-CARBON , there may be others that are a closer fit... Remove the stud bosses
Note overhang , The top and front needs more filing than the bottom.
Areas filed and test fitted.
Finished.
