Alright, I'm having big trouble with installing my exhaust. I tried asking for help on the force pipe post, but I think that one is too specific to the force exhaust. What I need is a pic of the underbelly of a 2003 xb9r. I bought my bike with tons of mods and I'm wondering if I'm missing a stock part. I don't know what it's called, but it's the crescent moon shaped thing on the bottom of the bike. It's located right next to the belt tension pulley. Is there supposed to be one on the front too? Any pics of your beasts' belly will help huge!!! Thanks! |

The stock pipe does have a much smaller crescent shaped bracket for the front. Pete |

Jake, I could help next week, if you want. There should be two mounts under the bike, if not, you're missing one. |

Sweet, so I am definetly missing the small one up front. Raven- I don't know what day I'm gettin back from TX, but as soon as I know, I'll shoot you a PM. The post "my new xb9r" has a pic of my bike and you can see the mount in the back, but there is nothin up front. I'll see what that'll cost. Anyone know what that's called? |
