here's my wife's mount on "pinkie"
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2427/3579428233_cdc 9cdef94_b.jpg

So some PVC "T", and threaded plug. A 1/4-20 x 2" screw, 4 rubber washers, a nylock nut, and a piece of old garden hose.

And a sample video

I think it turned out better than expected.

On Thursday, we'll be following Danny Eslick, Danny Bilansky and Michael Barnes on a ride from Hals to the HD Museum in Milwaukee, and I wanted to get that on video : )

I'm uploading video from both our bikes now. The wife still using the A900 fuji, and me using a Samsung MX10 Mpeg4 video camera, with stabalization.

And my Neighbors... They don't care. They're used to me by now : ) The video makes the bike sounds WAY louder than it is. It's bone stock.

No, that's not where I got it. I got it here:
http://www.knick-knack.com/howto/motorcycle/cheap- handlebar-camera-mount.html

Here's a video on my "ulbolt" taken with a Samsun MX10 video camera.

Here's the same thing, but on my wife's bike, using a Fuji A900 point and shoot camera.

That's the bike with dyed plastics right? I remember seeing it at Blackhawk Farms last year. Very cool ingenuity with the camera mounts, and with the dye!

that's cool, you can sink up the videos... (ok, maybe more geeky then cool) Yeah, the fuji has got quite a bit of shake to it at about 3000 ~ 3500 RPM. Almost hard to watch.

But it looks like the MX10 doesn't have that problem.

Nice, thanks for the out of the box idea.

I'll see if I can borrow another DV camera with stabilization for the ride to the Museum with Barnes, Bilasnky and Eslick, I may have to do a little video syncing : )

Americanmadexb, Pinkie is actually a *NEW* Pinkie. Last year it was a CityX, this year, it's a STT. : )
