That lip/flange broke off the clutch housing of my primary case!!! anyone know what a new one costs in the $US. I want to find out before i deal with the dealer here. They wanted $450 for a belt last week.

Too bad about that "lip/flange". Ours went out on a ride last Summer.

wow thanks for the quick replies guys.
Yeh Ive just been reading through the archives, seems like a common problem. Have the newer (black cases) been improved?, would one of them fit a 05 model?

the 9's primary case has been black since forever. and the case did change between the years. (the bolt pattern) you might be better off just repairing yours.
i guess you've seen the write up on how-to

and i've heard a dishwasher cleans it up purdee guuud.
