I have a head like a rock, but my wife loves me so much it is sickening, therefore I have decided that a good helmet could keep me from getting uglier than I already am.

I was looking at a THH TS-41 blue dragon, DOT and SNELL certified. Is this a good brand/model. I have already researched DOT and SNELL, and decided that I will NOT buy a helmet without both. I need to keep the $$$ reasonable on this decision too... any help would be GREAT!

About THH Helmets

THH has been making motorcycle helmets since 1974 in Taiwan. They have one of the most extensive lines of quality helmets on the market. In fact in magazine reviews THH helmets rank higher for protection then helmets that cost many times as more. Due to LeatherUp.com close relation with THH being located only a few miles from our headquarters combined with our massive buying power we are the only Internet firm that buys directly from THH, unlike other firms who buy from distributors so our prices are 20-35% less then most places. We basically give you THH helmets at wholesale pricing. The quality of there product is much better then certain brands that sell for many times more. We also have had 2 customers whose lives were saved by THH helmets, so we are proud to stand behind and carry such a quality line.

THH helmets in the latest July addition of American Rider ranked the highest in safety, ventilation, and protection. They ranked higher then all brands of helmets even Shoei and Arai the most expensive brands on the market. Because there factory is in Taiwan they have had access to advanced technology and highly sophisticated staff of engineers that China and other Helmet manufactures are just starting to use. Over 32 years of making and advancing motorcycle helmet safety. THH helmets are always a good investment.

Tong Ho Hsing (THH Helmets), owned and invested by Taiwanese people, was established in 1974. The capacity of the factory is 60,000 per month and currently there are 500 employees in number.

Fulmer Helmets appear to be based out of Memphis, TN… not sure if they are made there though.

Think that all DOT and Snell rated helmets are equal as far as protection goes. The difference is in the fit, finish, comfort, etc. All stuff that you can not easily grade.

Go try on helmets and get the one that fits you the best.

You can save some money by leaving off the graphics that some offer.
