Just finished up putting a jardine pipe on my 08 XB9SX. When I was pulling the stock pipe off I completely rem the oil line that runs through the bracket. When I put it back together the line stirpped to hell at the oil pump. I ordered a new oil pump and went to pull the old one off today, and it is hitting on the header. Is there a way i can get the oil pump off without removing the entire exhaust? If not, any tips on getting the exhaust off? I am a pretty decent mechanic (except I guess for installing oil lines) but I do not have alot of time or money to put into this project anymore. My bike is my daily driver and I do not know how much more commuting my old CJ7 Jeep can take right now...

Thank you!

Zach

Zach, you may want to post this in the knowledge vault and also do a search there. Good luck.

I think in order to remove the headers, you might need to rotate the motor. Dont hold me to that though, never done it myself.
