Well they had a brand new 2009 scg, pitch black one and after sitting on it she fell in love with it. So I went and opened "Ye Old Wallet Of Despair" and forked out a down payment for it and bought it. I just payed off my 1125r to last month. lol

I rode the bike home and man what a joy. I mean the thing is mean and low and is just so responsive and nimble. I had the chance to get her up to speed and do some engine braking and to gently warm the brakes up for her and by the time we got home I had put 50 miles on it. She went and got her gear on and took off on it and came back with a huge smile. it fits her perfectly and now she can keep up with me on my 1125r *Has a 07 Ninja 250R*. Above all thanks for everyone's help in trying to determine which XB would be best for her, and even after she sat on the Firebolt and the SCG she liked the SCG best. So I am now the proud owner of two Buells in less than a year.

Her only concern was trying to find a windscreen for it. I told her Zero Gravity makes them, but after looking at them she thinks they look hideous. When I rode it home I was very impressed with the lack of a wind screen TBH. I mean on the Ninja I get pounded because the windscreen is just high enough that it directs all airflow straight into me. The 1125r is quiet different, best fairing I've ever had on a bike so far.

Thanks again and we'll both be seeing everyone at Homecoming! Woot!

Good stuff. Having two Buells in the garage and a significant other to ride with is priceless!

Yeah the debt I just went in isn't nothing compared to having a life partner who shares the enjoyment with me. The worst part for her was that I rode it home and the entire way back she followed me and we stayed connected via cell phone *Thanks Cardo Scala Rider II!* and I commentated on how awesome the ride was while she sat in her cage... is that mean?

I think MR. Ramsey wouldn't be to upset with me. I managed to pay off the 1125r in 8 months and some change. I hate taking out loans and what not, but sometimes you have to pay to play and this is one of those times. We are getting pretty G'd up on our financial savvy and have a good plan to get the loose ends paid off. My only strength through all of it is that I am active duty military and the pay is steady. Anyone here going up to BHC next month?

I have a cee baily's wind screen and really like it. It takes the wind away from your chest very well.

Dave Ramsey is great but sometimes you just have to put that aside to enjoy life. One only lives once and only for so long.

Congrats on her new bike. I've ridden the 1125CR and I would much rather have the Scg. It is so much fun. Unfortunately we're having rain here and it's putting a damper on our riding. May have to suck up and gear up and just GO.

I've have my bike up to 90-100 and haven't had any problems with the wind with the stock flyscreen. The one's I've seen out there don't impress me as far as how they look.

Again, congrats and get a picture on here, would love to see it.
