Isn’t it funny how few of the bikes we love so much are visible on the road? I live down in central Texas in a small community of Bryan and College station, not what you would consider a Mecca of anything especially Buell motorcycles. When I bought mine there were two on the showroom floor of my local HD dealer. Now six months later there are a whopping 7, wow and I am starting to see them everywhere. Not like the rice burners or cruisers, but they are there. I even ride with three other Bueller’s upon occasion. Kind of cool when you are passing a bike on the other side of the road and you both kind of do a double take; “hey there goes another Buell rider!” |

I live 15 min. from East Troy, and I still get a lot of funny looks. Especially Harley riders. Most of the people where I live dont even know these bikes are made right down the road!................... Yet they all stare..................I like being the odd man out! |

caught myself at a light in town (toledo) last summer waiting for the light, as I look across the intersection there's a blue firebolt with rider staring at me from the perpendicular lane. out of instinct I freak and wave like a weinie and give the thumbs up as to motion " HEY! look! I got one too! that's swell" much to my surprise....he did the same geek move. We both realized that we knew the secret wave, and moved on. lol. put a buell under you and the same thing will happen |

I see maybe one a week or so. Ran into one last night while on a group ride, went for a little spin, convinced him to get a drummer after riding behind me for a bit . |

"convinced him to get a drummer after riding behind me for a bit" I like the Drummer thing, just trying to make a little side cash to pay for mine. I should get the last part of the needed cash today; Monday my extra goes in to UPS for delivery to Kevin. Then I’ll be only the second Arctic white in town and the first with a Drummer I think |

Saw a yellow tuber heading westbound on 441 mid-day yesterday in Tavares. Very rare sighting in this part of the world! Anyone here??? My "cheesehead" buddy (really, no offense please, I need no more flamin' today, jeans are already singed, thanks) that I've known since '94 had no clue Buells were made in Wisconsin. Girlfriend needs some ejja ma cation! What does she know, she used to ride a ducati!!! B. |

I went to the May Ride in San Marcos this year and to my surprise, i was the ONLY buell up until about 1 1/2 hours til the after party thing was over. He missed the poker run and all the good stuff. Didn't get to meet the guy, but he was on a cherry bomb SS. Another thing that surprised me too was that Harley's are getting a lot quieter these days. I think the only bikes that were actually louder than my bike with a Jardine on were the custom choppers that had straight pipes, but maybe that is just California, i know EVERY harley in Iowa has straight pipes and are loud as hell. Well, at least the harleys that my friends/family ride. |

My bike is in the shop so I was in my truck the other day and a Buell passed me I freaked out and waved because other than looking at my own you don't come across many buells in canada. oh how I hope he saw the Buell sticker in the back window of my truck or he thinks I an idiot. |

I've been keeping track of the Buellers in my area...We were at 7 but then I noticed a purple S3 and the next day on my way to work I saw a new xb12r, so now were up to 9...It's crazy, I always do a doubletake, as if i wasnt riding one myself. |

I just saw a uly, all packed up like he was going home for the summer. All the original Buell riders here were vets the youngest being 28. I haven’t kept count but I have seen a bunch, I personally know 6, but I keep seeing new ones. It must be the influx of new college guy’s lol. End of semester means no more waiting in line at the nice restaurants |

I had a weird dream last night, and this is not a lie. I was riding my bike down around the mountains and every bike I met was a 1125r. It was so awkward, I kept thinking "OMG OMG BUELL! ANOTHER ONE!" It was just an odd dream. I think it came from reading these message boards talking about Buell sightings lol. And I've only seen 1 other Buell on the road. Ridden with another. |
