hey guys, the steel braided feed line to the oil cooler on my 03 XB9S rubbed and is now leaking precious engine oil all over my beautiful machine: ( anyone know where i can get one...other than a dealership? and since ive got to spend the money anyways, I'd like to maybe get one that is anodized to match the bike. let me know.

Check out ebay and your local hydraulics/hose/line company's.

They have changed the way they routed those lines.

The original routing had the lines crossing and touching - it was bound to wear.

On my bike, I tied the two lines together with a tie and a tie for a spacer between them.

yea, i feel embarassed that i didnt catch it before it happened. im usually very meticulous about that kinda stuff. a couple local shops said they would have a little trouble matching the aluminum tube part of the hose if they tried to reproduce it. you think i could have the braided line removed from the tube and have them attached the new braided line to the old tube since it isnt leaking?
