Cant find anything to review or relate these to anything except the dunlops that used to be on the buells. Can somebody compare them to some of the other tires out there in terms of handling, not longevity. I am curious how they compare grip wise to the Michelin Pilot Road 2's, what I plan to put on after I get a few more thousand miles on the stockers. | ||

Compared to the Diablo Strada's I just put on they're terrible. The Strada's turn in and feel so much better, even with not being completely scuffed yet than the Diablo T's did after they had some miles on them. | ||

I went from the syncs to the Michelin 2ct and the handeling is not even close. The 2cts, even though are now close to wore out, are still amazing in comparison to the syncs. I have no love lost for the syncs. | ||

Not familiar with the Strada... is that a sport or ST tire? And Rpm4x4 is that the Road or the Power 2? And stock tire is the Sync? I thought stock was a special version of the Diablo. I feel comfortable right now on the stock tires but hope to increase my pace a good bit over my riding career but I just want to make sure the Pilot Road 2's are in terms of handling (and most importantly) and grip better then stock. I just have been reading reviews about the Pilot Road 2 and how it compares to say, the Pilot Power but its hard to judge how it will compare to my current tires since their are barely any reviews out for them and I cant even get a clear answer as to what type they are. | ||

Thanks... I am interested (only have like 1300 miles on the bike so still am riding a few more thousand) in the Pilot ROAD 2's. Same concept, but harder. My thinking is I ride in straight lines enough that even not looking at mileage, I'd get a better ride from a harder tire as it would hold its shape better then a Power. | ||

Diablo T's I got 4500 miles out of, a little slick when wet. Diablo Rosso's I got 5000 mi, awesome tires in any condition, gave great feedback, and held their profile better than the T's. I just threw on Stradas, with hopes of getting more mileage, haven't had the chance to ride hard with them yet. | ||

Diablo T's, thats it... I believe thats what the bike has. Anyways, how would you relate those to all the other tires out there in terms of grip? I know most more expensive tires will have better turn in characteristics etc... but I am most worried about traction. Is the Diablo T like a sport touring tire? A good one? I just want to make sure I am taking a step in the right direction with the Pilot Road 2's. | ||

Jraice on the Scg and R we have the diablo T stock the Sync are on the cityx, I'm not 100% sure if the Ss have the diablo T but pretty sure too. | ||

My Diablo T's will slip and push out on me, both front and rear. I've had that happen to me as well with the T's. I've always been happy with Pirelli on the bike and truck. I had a set for my old truck run almost 100k with plenty of tread left. (Message edited by Firebolt32 on May 06, 2009) | ||

IIRC the T's and the Rosso's have similar lean angles, and are both sport tires. The strada's have less lean angle and are sport/touring tires, and are supposed to last almost twice as long. The T's and the Rosso's I was never able to fully scrub the chicken strips (never took them on the track and there's no way I am going to lean that far on the road). I don't think I will have a problem scrubbing them on the Stradas, haven't hit any good twisties in the 100 miles I have on them, and they're already almost gone. | ||

The Diablo T's are not a ST tire. If I remember correctly they were originally made for the Triumph Speed Tripple. IMO they are are a poor tire compared to the modern choices. They seem to have less grip then most of the ST tires and wear like a full Sport tire. BTW I replaced mine (early because I did not feel comfortable with them) with Conti Road Attack rear and Conti Sport Attack front and it felt much better. With that being said my next set will be a PR2ct rear and a PP2ct front because I tink that will be much superior to the Conti's. (Message edited by Speedfreaks101 on May 07, 2009) | ||

I dont know if you are talking about the T or ST? but i am sure the Diablo T will not push out on you unless the tire is cold or wet. You will not hit the lean angle on the T or Rosso with a stock Buell because the pegs will hit before you do. The Rosso is a big improvement over the T. Both are huge improvements over the ST. | ||

Tires (T's) are neither cold nor wet. Happens on the initial drop in of a corner (being aggressive), or any quick flicks of the bike. Once I'm railing the corner they're fine. |
