When I adjust the clutch via the clutch adjustment nut, do I have to go in the primary and adjust the ramp. Not sure if the ramp is the correct term, but the screw behind the spring that you have to remove... I've already made the adjustment in the primary (about 3 weeks ago), now I'm just fine tuning the adjustment nut, since I left too much slack. | ||

clutch adjustmen. 1) raise the rear wheel 2)put as much slack in the clutch cable as possible. 3) take off clutch cover and take off nut with spring 4)unsrew the bolt until it has no tension on it. then screw it back in until it lightly seats. then back it of 1/4 to 1/2 of a turn. this will cause the clutch to dissingage right after you pull the clutch lever 5)put locking nut and spring back on, adjust clutch cable take all of the slack out except for 1/16" pull cluch lever 3 times to make sure its working. reinstall clutch cover and your done | ||

I know the procedure, I've done it. I just need to know if I have to go back into the primary and adjust the screw after I readjusted the clutch adjustment nut for a second time. | ||

anytime you do anything. oil change, adjust the clutch cable its always a good idea that way it doesnt start to slip. i adjust mine every 2500 to 5000 miles | ||

I've already did the complete clutch adjustment procedure 200 miles ago when I changed out my primary fluid. Now just today I tightened up the clutch cable a bit. Now do I have to go back into my primary and adjust the screw again. I don't know how much more clear I can get. | ||
