When you are doing back to back runs on a dyno, does the FI's ECU have time to "learn" new settings for the change you made? Or would you theoretically have to take it out on the road for a bit to let it fine tune itself like the manual suggests? Maybe the change would be so minor that it wouldn't matter anyway.
Also, does the heat really build up in the room enough to make a difference?

If the weather is good I take it out and run the bike to get the ecm adjusted. but if its not nice weather. I will run it on the dyno for about 10 miles at 3800 rpms to do the job.
then I will do multiple runs to make sure it is reading consistanly the same.
in the summer time the heat can build up in the room but ours is air conditioned. we have big fans sucking in air from the outside to get a more accurate feeling of actually being outside which most reputable dyno's do.
so in the winter it can get pretty cold in there.
hope that helps

We have a big roll up door and fans to keep the air fresh.

You can take it for a ride if you want.

Dave, thanks so much for the tail light lens. You are the best. I am sorry that I email you so much, at least I don't call all day right. Thanks again, you officially have all of my part business. Bubba, get ready for a Drummer order by the end of the month. I will only be needing the ECM and pipe.

You are welcome Morgan.
I still have a 12R on the floor with no tail light lens so it's a good thing we didn't wait!

Ride to the edge!
I am not above stealing parts off a showroom bike to help a friend!
