L1501.02A8 It retails for 82.50 A sure way to tell if its bad is if the mount is resting on the front isolator bolt. I dont have any pics but there are some on the badweb just do a search. | ||

This can get expensive as even fitting a new mount doesn't mean the problem goes away, it will happen again. That's why I now have this (see below) and although the mount showed signs of tearing again after only a few hundred miles when it was replaced, this part has made it last thousands (7-8k) of miles and the mount still works fine. http://www.ukbeg.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=33446 (Message edited by strada on April 15, 2009) | ||

The front isolator has been upgraded. No recall of course, and they make you buy an new bolt which you don't need for about $14 if I recall. The original part number on my 2004 XB 12S was L0501.02AB, the new part has a different part number, L10501.02A8. Since these parts are not in a consecutive series, your parts person may not find the part, even though they actually have it in stock. Mine was replaced about 12 months ago and was told it was a newer part but it still cracked. The basic design is flawed so they may have improved it but it's still wrong. |
