I just tried emailing Dave (daves@h-dappleton.com) whom I've ordered many parts from...email got returned.

Is he no longer with us?

Oh wow! A while ago now, Dave posted up that he was starting his archery pro shop: Double Lung Archery.

He always had TWO passions - motorcycling AND archery.

No. Appleton went downhill fast, IMO.

Fortunately, I have built a great relationship with Lance at St Paul HD and Wild Prarie HD- local to me here in the Mpls area. He loves Buells, gives excellent customer service and good prices.

Tripp at Precision H-D/Buell is pretty top notch.

Its odd to have like 5 H-D shops with in 40 miles of me here in kansas but I go to a guy on the edge of the east coast to get parts.

Appleton is still good, although not the same since Dave and Andy left. I have dealt with Tripp at Precision and Chris at Liberty, both are worthy of replacing Dave. All the dealers I have tried in the Sponsor section have not let me down.

If you call Appleton HD talk to George in parts. He will set you up with the badweb member 10% discount. I live 15 miles from the dealership and I still use them regularly with no complaints.

Give Precision HD a shot. Customer service is outstanding, I couldn't ask for anymore. The badweb discount is nice too!
