making a right turn in the rain,and all the fun stopped.
fuel pump is LOUD and cycles on and off while cranking.the 2 cylinders idiot light flash on and off .
no clue what is going,i suspect either no sparky or something is telling it to not deliver fuel.ran battery down,and no raw fuel stink out the pipe.
point me to troubleshooting guys===

There are ground wires on the front of the steering head behind the headlights. They can get loose or break off.


Wouldn't hurt to check the cam sensor wires down on the right side and under the chin faring.

Could it be the infamous Fuel Pump failure due to chaffed wires inside the pump?

Hook it up to a diagnostic device to find out the fault code. If it's the fuel pump, I think you know what to do.

no idea....it went out like a switch just shut it off.
how can i get the fault codes out of it?

Check Engine Light: is it flashing fast, like faster than a turn signal, or slow like steady six then pause and then another group?

instructions on how to read the trouble codes is in the repair manual....you have one of those right?
if not I can look it up for you, but basicaly you need to make a jumper wire, and connect two leads in the diagnostic connector. then turn the Ing. switch on and count the flashes.....find the corisponding number in the list of codes.....

Rapid flashing means a bad ground somewhere.

You won't get a fault code on that.

1. Charge your battery.

2. Look for a black wire from your key switch. I don't have your wiring diagram but there may a connector there. Wiggle it while the key is on and Check Engine Light is flashing to see if it stops. (Key switch because you're saying everything has shut off.) You're not only looking for a broken wire, you're looking for a frayed or rotting one.

3. Find the other end of the sub-assembly and check the black wire there.

Some others have mentioned a turning short. They'll have to add info for you.

Somebody else may have a S wiring diagram and can guide you to the other grounds that could cause this problem.

th dr is in !!
git it fixed.intuition was right on,wiring problem.the plugs by your right foot 3 of the 5 had oil in the plug.and i had other electical wiredness,but cleaned it all up and used dielectric grease in the plugs and all is well.i think it even cured an intermittent miss i had.

May want to look into why there's oil in the connector, expecially since those are weather tight connectors... There isn't much of a chance that the contamination came from anyplace else. Sometimes sensors that are submerged or come into contact with fluids can fail and allow fluid up into the wiring harness causing all types of carnage.
