I was looking over the bike and noticed the reflector in the low beam housing is cracked. It looks like the guy who had the bike previously cracked it while installing a new bulb, because it starts at the bulb hole and spiders out. Does anyone know if or how to replace this and a part number. I really dont want to have to buy a whole headlight assembly.

S or R? If it's an S I might have one for you! Condition's not perfect, but it'll do.
Are you sure it's cracked and not just the chrome coating "crazing" from the bulb heat?
If it is, whatever you do, DON'T WIPE IT WITH ANYTHING!! DAMHIK...

Yeah its a lowbeam on my S and it is definitely cracked. The coating on the lens looks perfect. It looks like the guy though it was a car and turned the bulb until it cracked. Let me know how much you want.

Do you have your headlight housing apart? If so, I can send you just the reflector. They're a bit of a pain to get apart without breaking something. Small, thin-bladed knives work well, along with patience. The assembly I have is in pieces and the low beam lens is bad (mis-marked 100W bulbs tend to melt things...I thought it was a 55W. Melted the lens QUICK!) so the whole assembly probably wouldn't work for you.
I'll just give it to you, as it's not perfect (bit of "crazing" and the coating in the area above the bulb is kinda ugly). I would feel bad charging you for it! But, at least it will hold the bulb securely! PM me with your address.

I appreciate the offer, but I don't want a melted one. I actually had the same problem with my old lightning because of a 100w bulb, so I feel your pain.

I'll see if I can either post or email a photo of it. It was the LENS that melted, not the reflector. Reflector looks MUCH better than the lens!

Oh ok in that case I will take the reflector.

I went out to the shed to look for it when I got home. I couldn't find it, and I fear it might have gotten pitched! Sorry, Shaun! I'll look again when it's more light out.
