I recently purchased my first Buell, an '05 XB9SX, and with the stock exhaust it is so quiet that it is almost embarrassing. Is there any aftermarket exhaust I can purchase for around $350 that'll give me a better V-Twin sound without requiring a new ECM? Sound, not looks, is my goal; oh, and I'd like it to run right after the mod. |

Go with a Drummer or Special Ops. I believe the Drummer is $400, and the Special Ops is a bit cheaper. Both do not require a tune. |

+1 both of those will work great... Drummer might have a slight edge on performance but both will sound awesome, should be a bit lighter and may give you a bit of power without the need for a tune. As was said the special ops is cheaper (I believe its $330)... Nice thing about drummer (Im in the process of doing this) is you can pay a $250 core fee so they send you the pipe then you send them your stock back and get the $250 refunded. Otherwise you need to send in your stock pipe and wont be able to ride for a couple of weeks or more. |

I really don't like how the drummer looks like a car muffler hanging from the bike. Honestly I like the looks of the buell race muffler plus the sound! |
