Ok, I'm really pissed and down today. Got to 80 degrees, no clouds, and a nice breeze. Some would say this is a dream day for bikers, and i would agree. Worse part, bike is at the dealership until Wednesday. So i didn't get to enjoy ANY part of the day.

Anyone else have days like this and can't enjoy it to the fullest?

80degrees sounds sh**ty(?) to me not a good thing with a air cooled buell.... today i had a great ride, weather was in the 60's there was a strong wind but it was managable, and no cops : D
In the other hand today, I was replacing one of those toliet paper holders in our bathroom with a nicer one because the one we had was fallng apart. GOD was it a pain, when taking off the old one I ened up stripping the last screw to take it off then going on a scavenger hunt for a means to take out the screw. and once at the bathroom trying to take the last screw out the head fell right off leaving the rest in the wall, somwhow I got that thing out with the drill and some pliers. now with putting on the new toilet htingy I ended eneded up stripping most of the screws trying to put them into the wall and had a hard time putting them into the drywall thus chiping the drywall to the extent that I just gave up and let it wait for another day. and the worst of all now is I dont have the toilet holder there to begin with when im on the can!!!
seriously badweb the word ^^ is too much for ya? well what the and a hell

"Dude its snowing where I'm at."

Dude! Me too!

I get a little upset when the sun is out, there's no salt on the road, and the temperature is above 40 deg.f.

The last time I missed a ridable day, I was in the garage all day putting my bike back together because I didn't work hard enough during the winter.

Now I'm waiting for the snow that's falling to melt, and the salt they're putting on the roads to be washed away by some rain. Then the data logging can begin.

I hate hoping for rain.

Ok, i've gotten soft over the past few years for getting use to Cali weather. I know if i was back in iowa and it hit 50 i would be ECSTATIC about it and would be on the road in a heart beat. but now a days, if its below 60 its too cold for me, even though i still ride cause my bike is my only means of transportation.

I hear you about the snow and salt. Three salt trucks have went by my house in the past hour. Now I have to wait for the snow to melt, the rain to wash the salt away and the mud to dry in the driveway. But, that isn't as bad as a nice day and not having your bike. I feel for you Marine.

i know, and i think part of iraq is still in me. When i was over there and it got down to 70 at night, i was curled up in my sleeping bag that was rated to go down to 40 degrees and i was STILL freezing my a$$ off. But thats when the average daily temperature was about 110-120

"Anyone else have days like this and can't enjoy it to the fullest?"

It was 75 today in Baghdad. Kinda sucks when the bike is 6400 miles away.

I think I'm do my Buell up in an ACU pattern some day.

Snow, frost, and ice on the ground at my house, I would be happy with temps in the 50's and no rain.

All of my bikes look like derelict rat bikes from riding in bad weather.

I remember Fallujah during this time of year, weather was NICE. A little cold in the mornings and usually had to put the old gortex on to go to work, but as soon as it was about 9-10, it was nice. I miss those days over there. Can't wait to go to Afghanistan the beginning of next year, gonna try to do a 14 month deployment.
