Ok so heres the deal, I killed my stock XB12 gauges changing the face plate. So I got a great deal on a basically new set of XB9 gauges, only had 950 miles on them. Everything works just fine but the speedo does not read correctly. For example on the highway at 65mph it indicates about 80mph. Topped out it read 145! Any ideas?

I would guess that the speed sensor on 9's vs. 12's are different sizes. Maybe not the speed sensor, but the thing inside the motor that the sensor detects. Kinda like a car, you put bigger tires on your truck, the speedo is off cause you having set it for those big mud swampers you put on it.

You sure you got a MPH gauge and not a KPH?

When I changed the face I used a heat gun (on the lowest setting) to remove the stock adhesive. Apparently that was still too warm and it messed up the gauge making it inoperable. So you're looking to get rid of the speedo you have Ochoa? BTW, Junior thats kind of what I was thinking. I have changed rear end gears in cars before but they use a gear in the tranny that can easily be swapped to correct the speedo. I double checked and it is a MPH speedo.
