You haven't over stepped because it was probably unseen. Biff, have you ever asked question's that were asked time and time over??? Bet ya have. Give Jordan slack.... he may at one time be able to help you out one day when your in a pickle. I've been here a looooong time this isn't the last time the cheese grater questions will be asked and answered.

Thanks Jonzin that helped big time!

I think Ill wait until I get the integrated tail light and do the whole thing in one shot...

Just got back from an AMAZING ride... Learned a few things, the buell handles great, and my dad can really ride his Road King! He fell back a few times but could keep up more or less if I slowed in the straights and he dragged his footpeg for the first time!

Beautiful day, I was almost sweating!

Jraice.... We need to meet up and ride some time... I live in Sunnyvale. I have a XB12Ss with a few mods (no cheese grater, plate relocate, special ops pipe, bar end mirrors, rear seat cowl, removed belt guards and tire hugger) some stuff you might want to check out to get some ideas for your Ss.

Glad you had a good ride -- take it easy and get used to the bike and your dad will be a speck in the rear view soon enough.

Svtcali2000. I would love to meet up and ride sometime soon!

Most of my ride rides are done with the pops as he likes to join me, prefers I dont ride to far alone but we can work something out. I got my bar end mirrors on yesterday and LOVE them, but would like a closer look at the cheese grater removal and seat cowl.

And Didactic I am taking it nice and easy. Bike just handles SO well... Was on 84 during that ride, one of my favorites and it was just flowing so well and on a few turns on highway 9 that the R6 never liked (tighter hairpins) and I felt like I had to crawl around, the buell would just flow nicely.

My next step is going to be playing around with weight shifting (butt movement on seat) but going to really ease my way into that.
