It's happened about 5 times this season and only on cold start ups. If I shut the bike off and restart it comes alive. Try cleaning the sensor, one bolt, pull it out, wipe any filings or sludge off and see what happens. Put it back in and it worked for about another 50 miles. then it went out. It will make it easier to reconnect. Wish I had done that. You won't need to just to clean it.   Dhalen32 Posted on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 10:13 am:        Buellmalarky: I have an '06 Ulysses that began to show signs of what you have described. Took it in and the mechanic assumed it was the speedo sensor. When that proved to not be the case they ended up replacing the entire instrument cluster. They were able to get a new one from Buell with my correct mileage pre-programmed and it is working great now. Dave
