To those who have the extended versions for the Lightnings, does it cut the wind significantly? Thanks.

Blackm2,
So So... Later we installed the Ulysses Front light cover and the stock Screen for that was better, but then installed the larger 4" Ulysses and that was by far the best...This is on my wifes xb12scg...

I plan on getting this for my Ss, this looks like it will get the job done pretty good, without having to modify the stock flyscreen.

Hmm that is a new one too tall, looks interesting, a bit unsightly, at least in pictures, but could be effective. Thanks.

I have been using the extended fly screen on my XB9s and can say that it does give you a little more room, but you still have to lay your chin on the speedo to make use of it. Over 100mph it definitely helps, but below that I just get tired of being tucked so tightly. Even though it does "raise" the oncoming air blast it also adds a slight amount of drag so technically it may be a trade off. Without that extra 4 inches my head was bobbling so bad I couldn't see straight... not a good thing above 100mph.

By the way, I recently was able to push it up to 120mph again and in the tight tuck I felt stable. But those speeds are only in short bursts.
