Anybody in the area, preferably really local (I am near San Jose), with an XB12 (preferably an S or other upright bike) that would like to ride my Yamaha R6 for a bit?

I have test road an XB12R and an XB9SX. Am planning to do a "swap" with a local rider with a 9 that is piped.

I want to ride another 12 for a bit as well before making my decision (currently in love with the XB12Ss)...

Ride can be anywhere your comfortable with, around town, highway. Would love to take a buell into the mountains (especially something with handle bars, want to see how they feel in the twisties) but you may not be comfortable with that.

Let me know!

Why not test ride one from one of the H-D/Buell dealerships around? When I first test rode one (before I bought mine), they took me out for an hour! We rode some twisties as well as down a local freeway. Check the dealers to see if one might be that cool about the test ride....

17 years of age...

They dont like that number...

I've eased my way in to a few test rides but not enough to satisfy me and cant seem to find any more willing dealers.

I couldnt find one dealer that would let me (18) test ride a bike. I even had my own bike and insurance.

Everyone said I had to be 21+. Found one in modesto area that let me take an 1125R but it didnt have a "soul" like an XBS/R Bike and I didnt like the lack of low end.

Yeah its a pain...

And I also found a CR1125 with raised bars but its just to much power (trying to get less then the R6 not similar) and lacks the benefits of the XB's... Not to mention that I think its plain ugly, but thats my opinion only.
