i changed my oil and primary late last season i put about 1500 miles on full synthetic amsoil, than stord it for the winter in my house. Should i change it again along with the primary? P.s I've heard that i can get 5,000miles out of amsoil is that true?

You can go 5,000+ on any oil, dino or synthetic according to the owners manual.

I dump the my motor and primary every 2,000-2,500.... but some on this board say I'm wasting fluids.

Oils cheaper than internal parts.

Engine oil should be changed every six months regardless of synthetic or dino, and even if no miles traveled.

Amsoil, and other quality synthetic oils are designed to perform to 5,000 miles or more. Dino oils start to break down after approx 2,000 miles, and I would not attempt to stretch any mineral oil to 5,000 miles... it's cheap- change it.
